We are pleased to announce the launch of our capital campaign to make The Fort an even better place to play! Our goal is to raise $1.7 million for improvements to our facility, including new air-supported structures, or "bubbles"; a walkway linking the two bubbles; an additional court; expanded parking and more. Learn more and support The Fort!
Greetings and welcome to The Fort website, where you can find information and inspiration about our facility and programs. By spending a few moments navigating the site—from our history to our junior program, adult program and TennisWorks—I hope you will derive a sense of who we are: a non-profit devoted to its mission. Our mission is, “We bring people together of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to embrace the lifelong game of tennis while serving under-resourced youth with the support of the Community.”
In keeping with our visionary founder Fred Wells, we continue to provide affordable courts and accessible junior and adult tennis programs, and we give back with our TennisWorks program reaching out to under-resourced youth and communities. We aspire to work closely with our partner schools in promoting tennis as a sport for health, wellness and personal growth.
As we plan the future of The Fort, we are embarking on a capital campaign which will allow us to continue to live our mission. Details of the exciting improvements that are in store for The Fort, as well as information on contributing, can be found here.
Please visit our website regularly. We will continue to work hard to have all the information you seek. We hope you find inspiration from this website to visit our facility and see our mission in action—up close and personal.
